Keynote Title: Press Play: An adventure of power-ups, portal warps and pivotal learning today.
Description: Playing games is a fully sensory experience. They are often fun, immersive, competitive and collaborative. Students today learn differently than they have in the past. They’ve grown-up in the age of Angry Birds and Plants vs. Zombies. This talk will present up-to-date research on gamification and game-based learning. It will explore how both of these practices can be used to create highly engaging and relevant learning.
